My PB for no-moving games is 113, but that was after playing A LOT of games, and also with the old locations, before they added a ton of rural places in mid-January. On a good streak now I usually get to about 15-20 (emphasis on good here, it's often lower than that), and my PB with the new locations is forty-something.

Let's assume all countries have the same probability (just for simplicity). 2200 divided by 84 equals 26.2. A small deviation (let's say +3) means +11% which is huge. In my case with N=1000 it's even worse. And since the probabilities are close together these deviatons causes big jumps in the probability "ranking".

I created a script that adds a country streak counter on the GeoGuessr website a few months ago. Recently, u/roeezaidler posted an edited version of this script which automatically detected whether your guess was in the correct country, and I also added some stuff and fixed bugs for that version. The automated version uses an external API to translate GPS coordinates into country codes.
